Yes indeed, exactly 5 years ago (also in the very same weekend).

What I liked most back then was that upon arrival at the ECB we were searched if we had cash with us. Everybody dumped piles and piles of :note-5: on the table, and the guards were flabbergasted!

Then, let's repeat it. Guess you guys and girls will invade all downtown banks anyway during the day and before the meeting starts....

Spanier, will you also participate in the ECB-visit and the evening?

A thread about banks in Frankfurt or what is you idea? To cut it short: VR-banks are, in my experience, the banks most likely to "support" us. In Frankfurt I also have some good experiences with Commerzbank, NASPA and Hypo-Vereinsbank. Regrettably, different from five years ago, the bank with the highest number of branches in Frankfurt - Sparkasse von 1822 - requires that you have an account with them.

The last time I changed money in Frankfurt I did so at the branch of the Deutsche Bundesbank, which is only two blocks from the ECB. It was in 2010 and I had no problem to get 5000 € in fivers.

I will let you know a.s.a.p.

I've got a ride-along with BaliBennie, so it seems like I will be attending all 3 days after all.

Hi, can you please add me to the yes list? I guess it's easier to drop out than to be added in later. I had already reserved the post-meeting Monday as a holiday, but now my colleague wants to have the previous Friday, so we are fighting over that day (but I hope my boss still loves me and I get it instead of her  )

@Math Murderer: Thank you for the hint. According to my experiences in different cities , Deutsche Bank "supports" us. :D
