Entered notes and the EBT-meeting.

I have a question.

Do you know what the rules of EBT say about using entere notes at the EBT-meeting?

When I would pay at the restaurant for my dinner (for example) and another EBT-user would get this note as change for his payment.

Can (s)he enter this note (and get a hit) or would this count for an incorrect hit (because (s)he got the noet from another EBT-er)?

You should avoid this kind of situation. Normally, i am paying with bigger bills to get change, in the case of the ebtm I'll have some 5ers with me to pay when other ebt people are around. As far as I know, most of the others do the same. No, such hits are not interesting.

And how about the payments towards the organisers (for example the Friday activity costs €5)?

Paying with coins would be possible for Friday, but for Sunday it's €29 in total (that would be a mass to carry).

To give a not-entered note would be difficult, because I always enter my notes directly after I've got them. So all the notes I carry with me are allready entered.
This would mean the organizers should keep "our" notes apart to avoid entering? Or should we have some extra notes so they can enter them? In that case I have to get some extra notes.

The organisers just follow the option I've mentioned earlier:

Just don't enter the note if you receive a note directly from another EBT-er during the meeting....

There are some unwritten rules about it:

* Pay only with fivers and coins. If you keep yourself to this rule alone there isn`t any possibility to generate meetinghits.
* Enter all notes received during the meetingweekend with the comment EBTM06. This will make life easier for moderators.

Remember a meetinghit is considered not interesting if it occurs during the meetingweekend and will be moderated. When a bill pop ups long time after the meeting pe in Finland, this is also a meetinghit, but then it is considered interesting.

The organisers will spend the money they received again to pay for entrances and stuff like that, so don`t worry about them generating hits.

Thanks for not getting any meetinghits during the weekend and let`s enjoy it. (although it`s raining at this moment)

And as a practical tip how to do that: let haemoglobin pay first
