EBT and EBTF may be unavailable on Thursday

Postby avij » Wed Aug 11, 2004 9:37 am

There's some construction work at our company starting on Thursday at 17 our time (16 for most of you). This may cause the EBT server to be unreachable until late Thursday evening because the electricity will be switched off in one part of the building. I'll have to verify some details, but because the main router is in that part of the building, it might cause EBT to lose connectivity even though the EBT server itself might have electricity. Sorry, I wish I had known about this earlier so I could have arranged something..

Hmm, looks like we'll really be offline for some time on Thursday :? So please don't count on EBT and EBTF being available on Thursday evening, consider planning some other activity for yourself instead.

OK, we're back online, the server was up and running at about 21:50 Finnish time.
