The hit list should be sortable. It's not so important for my few hits, but I'd like to have the latest hit on the top.

The public statis should be in the viewers language or in English. Unfortunalely I can barely read finnish (EDIT: just saw this has already been discussed earlier...)

The pages you browse during general use are generated as you visit them (ie if you reload any page, all the HTML is generated each time). The images, though, work like the data: they are calculated only once, then stored. If you want new charts (with the correct language) the procedure is the same as for getting new data, ie upload your CSVs again.

Given that the charts are actually XML, I could do some dark magic to edit the XML and fix this, but I'm not adding that to the TODO list now. Translating the charts in the public stats is a further challenge still.

I don't know anything about the KML file format. I believe it's XML too so it might be easily doable. Maybe there's some Perl module to do the dirty work for me. I have to investigate.

Yesterday there were 330 Duisenberg notes in my records. You still can see it in my public stats.

This morning I had entered two Duisenberg notes but in the stats there are only 329 left...

Wow, thanks for the quick notification .

Yesterday I updated the configuration to include a couple of new plates. Another unrelated change was included, indeed in the detection configuration. Previously, F002 notes from N**000 to N**192 were marked as WD, while the correct range is N**0000 to N**0192 (the configuration was confusing and the code was misbehaving). Your 3 :note-20:s F002 have been affected by this, and went from WD to JCT, explaining the decrease in WD notes.

Probably I should have waited to the next update to do this.

I made another update to EBTST to make the following changes:

• Hit analysis: sort the lucky bundles in ascending hit ratio ( Yippo). I'm thinking on trimming this listing so it doesn't get too large. For instance, something like "Don't show lucky bundles when the hit ratio for that day is twice larger than the average hit ratio of the user". Do you have any opinion on this?
• Hit list: ignore the moderated hits in the "Notes in between" calculation ( Dominic38 in the italian forum).
• Hit list: when there were several passive hits in a row without the user inserting any note, "Notes in between" wasn't being reset to zero ( yli).
• Import: some mangled CSV files come with different date formats (e.g. "31.12.2010 00:00", "31/12/2010 00:00"). Accept them.
• Import: some mangled CSV files come with extraneously high geographic coordinates. They seem to be 10 times higher than their appropriate value, so EBTST divides them by 10. When those users visit the African region between 9ºN,18ºW and 9ºS,19ºW, those coordinates won't be divided (they'll be legal in the CSV) and future EBTST features (e.g. KML, or something about dotmaps) will be incorrect. Besides this, there are still some weird coordinate fields out there, but I don't plan to support every possible format generated by every possible spreadsheet program.
• Correctly quote some fields, to prevent e.g. a zip code such as "<b>1234</b>" from appearing in bold. This has security implications.
• Speed up the generation of line charts by skipping an unnecessary step in some cases. Now, when there are less than 10000 points in the graph, all of them are plotted. When that milestone is passed, then only 10000 are shown—some adjacent points are proportionally bundled into one along the X axis (until now this bundling was always done, even with less than 10000 data points).
• When importing, the progress bar was stopping for some seconds near 100% (mentioned in the first post, under "Lowlights"). Now it's accurate (but read below).
• Time analysis (detail): The MM:SS table was followed by the text "Colors: x/3660, …" instead of 3600 ( TXATXE).
• Include french translation.
• Correctly show a nice serial "*BAABBCCBBEE" instead of "…DD" ( chrishos04).
• Combinations: include a new history table ignoring note values ( jrnsndrs). I've included it in the BBCode too.
• Disallow '/' in usernames/passphrases.
• Locations: link to the first note in each location ( -flop- in the italian forum).
• 8% speedup in the import procedure.
• Now uploading only a notes CSV doesn't remove the hits ( gabonik). Due to this, the import procedure may seem to stay at 0% for some seconds, while existing hits are saved, rendering it inaccurate again .
• Remove a couple of "Not found" errors that appeared in some circumstances.
• Improved automated tests.

Immediate plans:

• Investigate the offset in jonman's hit ratio chart. At least it's not the only broken one, which would be really odd. I hoped that the 10000 data points cutoff change would fix this for me, but it seems it didn't.
• Improve automated tests, there are a couple of nasty situations that could happen and need fixing.
• Expand some help sections. Ask for translations.
• Internal changes in the bad notes management.
• Support NIG's codes_*.txt. They will live in their own section so Locations will remain unchanged. I may need to ask some questions regarding this, we'll see.

Now, regarding the login problems some of you are experiencing, I must admit that I haven't a clue about it. If anyone encounters it again (which will happen) and is willing to help, maybe there's something you can do:

• Close Firefox.
• Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\<your user>\Program Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ (this path is correct for winXP, I believe it's different in other windows versions, of course).
• Inside that folder there should be a subfolder with a name like sd7ft7sf.default. Make a copy of it.
• Navigate inside the new folder and remove the following files/folders: bookmarkbackups, bookmarks.bak, bookmarks.html, cookies.sqlite, downloads.sqlite, formhistory.dat, formhistory.sqlite, history.dat, places.sqlite, sessionstore.bak and sessionstore.js. This is for your privacy, although I'm not interested in looking at that. Please take care to remove these from the new copied folder, not from the original sd7ft7sf.default!
• Zip the new folder and send it to me. I'm reachable at ebt <at> dserrano5.es.

Hopefully following this steps you'll be sending me your Firefox configuration and I'll be able to reproduce the problem, which is half the
solution. Let's hope that the troubling bit is there and not deeply buried in the registry…

Aaand this is when I start noticing all the minor issues with the french translation :

• "First note entered" should be translated "Premier billet encodé le" instead of "Premier billet encodé"
• The "historic percent notes by president" chart is not translated, it appears in English. I tried re-uploading my CSV files as advised here, but that didn't work.
• "Number of notes per month" should be translated "Nombre de billets par mois" instead of "Nombre de billest par mois"
• "Hit times (bingo)" should be translated "Horaires de hits (bingo)" instead of "Bingo des durées"
• "Hit times (detail)" should be translated "Horaires de hits (détail)" instead of "Détail des durées"
• In both cases above, "Hit times" appears in English at the top of the page
• In the "Help" section, "Main usage", "Configure", and "Coords bingo" all appear in English
