It's cached. Re-upload your CSV and it should take longer.

Translated: checking the box next to "Regions" and hitting "BBCode/HTML" doesn't take into account the Regions section. It isn't taken into account and the checkbox, on subsequent browsing, appears disabled. On second try, though, it works as expected.

Anyone else seeing this?

No Regions BBCode/HTML output here either. Other items work more or less as expected. Check screenshot.

The "dev" version now is faster, in less than 2 minuts I have all stats! :D

Flagging all stats and generating the html/BBcode, the "locations" page has generated at "locations.html" address but the link is not shown in the left-column menu.

That's expected. If you look close enough, you won't find BBCode output for the huge table too, but HTML for regions is generated although there's no BBCode for it. BBCode doesn't make much sense for large stuff, since its purpose is copying/pasting it into the forum. That's why some sections are absent, and regions is one of them. Other sections, e.g. plate bingo, show only a summary.

Gabonik's regions aren't there though. I guess his listing after "Public stats have been generated" didn't enumerate it either, which would be consistent with the fact that the checkbox appeared unckecked following that. This is the symptom I'd like to be reproduced. From the application logs it seems that his browser ignored the checkbox and requested only countries, information, locations, printers and value.

Thanks giulcenc for your report!

Great work, really fast here.

Some glitches on Portugal regions:
  • You apparently kept the numbered files together with the unnumbered, since there's both on the Concelhos de Portugal group.
  • I don't know why but both Cidades de Portugal and Vilas de Portugal show very few (and unnecessarily numbered) locations.
  • None of these groups is showing the correct number of notes for each entry, not even close.
  • The alphabetical order is messed up in relation to accented letters (as it was already in NIG, btw, and still is on EBT citymanager, although someone must have tried to fix it here, since all accented letters come between A and B). As an example, you may want to check that Évora doesn't show between Coimbra and Guarda, as it should, but after Setúbal.

Some bugs in my Regions stas (https://dserrano5.es/ebtdev/ebtst/stats ... gions.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;):

Some italian notes (from Liguria and/or Toscana) are counted twice (or more times), in their own regione and in in-existent no-name-regione:

I'm not able now to say which notes and witch italian postal codes are interested in this bug. Maybe I'll check it tomorrow, or sunday...

Some Maltese notes are not counted in Kunsilli Lokali table:

I've inserted notes with postal codes ZBG1011 (1note), ZBG 1011 (2notes), ZBG 1000 (7notes), ATD 4000 (2notes) and BKR 9013 (1note), but it seems only the first two postal codes are counted.

For some reason I only get the regions of Belgium, and not for the Netherlands. (no notes entered elsewhere)
https://dserrano5.es/ebtdev/ebtst/stats ... gions.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And the flag for the province Antwerpen seems to be gone.

Code: Select all

<img border='0' alt="Antwerpen" src=https://dserrano5.es/ebt/ebtst/images/regions/800pxantwerpenresizeev8.png>
I will put the adress in IMG-tags below:

Following the above link in Firefox (where I was not logged in to EBTST-dev) also didn't give me the Dutch regions.

(And honestly, I would have been very surprised if it had done...)

The Dutch postal codes are present in the github (as they should be) but under a new name. Is EBTST still looking for the old name?
(if it isn't that, then I have no idea)

I'm alone at home today (yay!) so let's see if I can iron out all this stuff.

Ah, I didn't know one of your files was expected to replace an existing one. EBTST doesn't (still) detect overlapping and repeated entries. I guess removing pt.txt (and leaving pt_castles, pt_cidades_e_vilas and pt_distconc_ordemcp) will be enough but I'll take a look nevertheless.

Using ASCII collation right now. Switching to English with Unicode semantics would fix this particular example and also Maltese letters Ħ and Ż so that's what I'll do.

Good catch on the empty region name! Regarding the maltese post codes, the latter 3 aren't defined in the configuration so they don't exist. I'll see how NIG behaves.

jrnsndrs wrote:the flag for the province Antwerpen seems to be gone.
No region flags work right now. Flags are already in dserrano5.es and the URLs in the configuration point to "/ebt/ebtst/images/regions" but the images arent's still there (they are in "/ebtdev/…"). As soon as I bring regions into the main EBTST instance, flags will reappear.

Strange. Well if you are talking about the file name "nl.txt", it's correct. All files names have changed.

That's the name I was referring to. And That's why I was wondering if EBTSTdev was still looking for the old name.
(typical the kind of mistake that I would make with one or two countries or so.)

I will try again right now.

Addition: Still no Dutch regions.

I checked my notes, but all my italian notes are counted correctly in their Regioni.
I don't know where the extra 362 notes counted in no-name-regione are coming from, but they are here. Mystery....

I will ask the Dutch community if they can reproduce these problems.

Due to the recent change to speed up the code, the matching of ranges is done in a different way, which causes some of the problems you're seeing.

@lmviterbo: notes with full CP7 (9999-999) aren't matched with the new algorithm. You have only 169 notes with CP4 (9999) which explains the lack of data in your results. Your tables show 338 notes, which is 169 duplicated notes (e.g. "125-Lisboa" + "Lisboa").

@jrnsndrs: all your dutch notes (no exception—congrats!) have the full post code (9999 ZZ). This isn't matched by EBTST now, so you end up with no notes in the Netherlands as far as regions is concerned :). No need to ask your fellow trackers, the problem is identified ;).

Due to the headache, runny nose and continuous sneezing I'm having, I'm afraid the solution to this will have to wait. At least I already have a solution in mind :) (which should also fix giulcenc's issue with ZBG 1000, ATD 4000 and BKR 9013).
