The story of your hits

I have 4 hits with 20 € notes. (1 German, 1 Spanish, 1 French and 1 Belgian note) I have 1 hit with a 5 € note. (1 Belgian note)

Please tell us the same about your hits.

Can we see somewhere how much hits there are with a 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 € note? Now we see them all together but we can't see it separately.

Nothing special huh? Well: They're both entered by me on 2004-01-03, 19:16:34 and 19:16:13

6 hits with 500 € bills, great.

It's strange that there are more hits with 10 € bills than with 20 € bills. I thought it was otherwise.

So.. Apparently 500€ is better than 100€ or 200€ notes. And 200€ notes should apparently always be avoided.

In fact you should "order" whole bundles of them at your bank and put them all into the db.

That's exactly what I meant. If I can choose, a 500€ note is much better idea than a 200€ note, because the ratio for 500€ is better. I think 100€ is the best, because it's got better ratio than 200€, but you get five times as many of them as you would get 500€ notes.

Following this lead you should actually only go for 5€ notes... Not really the spirit of EBT I guess. As far as I understand it, EBT was founded to track the euro notes on their natural travels through the world. That's also why I only enter notes which I happen to get in my wallet anyway.

Here's an extract from my statistics. I've got 16 hits altogether.

Hits by value:

9 hits = 56%

4 hits = 25%

2 hits = 13%

1 hit = 6%

Hits by notes' national codes:

6 times = 38%

5 times = 31 %

3 times = 19 %

1 time = 6 %

1 time = 6 %

And if I calculate a ratio as Avij has done (the total amount of notes of any value against the number of hits received with them), it's like this:

shopping center -> pub/bar (I only heard about its destination on a discussion forum, it was not indicated when the note was registered) -- an international hit

I don't think you can talk about the ratio with 3 and 6 hits, that's just too few, it could be coincidence

"and", not "but" - and if you use 5€, you get 100 times as much

But having a hit with 200 or 500 Euro is something special!

The hit notes I've found I got from:
- Bank 5 (45 %)
- ATM 4 (36 %)
- Shop 2 (18 %)

My notes that were found:
- Unknown source 6 (67 %)

- Shop 3 (33 %)
