Are you counting single or total hit distance? In the latter case, there is this triple to travel 400 km through Belgium, from West to East and back again. Perhaps you can make separate categories...

This is a bit embarrassing - I'm improving the record of Luxembourg... again. Now it's 1791 km.

List updated today (on page 1) - quite a few new entries, and a big climb up the domestic charts for Greece!

Excellent! Portugal must be unbeatable! (And it could still stretch even further to the westernmost island of the Azores)

I will make the change on my next update.

One hit from the Canarias Islands and a city in the north of Spain may beat Portugal but I'm not sure.

@Lazza: I doubt that any of the 4300 inhabitants in Flores (Flowers) or any of the 450 in Corvo (Crow) is a EBTist. (I don´t even know if they´ve internet access  )

I believe that the longest domestic record will belong someday to France. We cannot forget Martinique

They should have dial-up connections at least, even if they do I also doubt that anyone is a EBTist.

That's true... I guess Martinique counts as a French Département...?

(Come to think of it, from Newcastle to Gibraltar would be a UK hit at 1890 km! :D time to plan a holiday.... )
