:note-5: :flag-cy: E009H3 G000, received from a classmate in Rabat, before he could spend it on the bus back to Gzira.
2€ :flag-fi: 2009 commemorative coin, in Gzria, after buying 4 bottles of Kinnie and a bottle of water.
German 1 pfennig coin (pre euro currency) in the same shop, asking for Maltese 1 cent coins. Those Pfennigs will never die out :D ! Unfortunately, they didn't have any Maltese 1 cent coins  and I didn't want the Pfennig as well. I have a whole bag of them at home :P .
I were in Malta in september 2010 for two weeks and it was hard to find a 1 cent coin. Later on holiday I used to ask in every pub and restaurant if I may check the tip bowl for that, the answer was YES every time :D At the end I found one maltese 1 cent coin, very worn but that didn't matter to me! :D

You people in Malta are very friendly people and I enjoyed my stay there with all aspects, I hope I can come there again
Malta only produced 1c coins in 2008. Considering that 1 euro cent is worth much less than our old 1c, we do not use it that much and we never accept it as change, if it is the only change which we need. Later on in 2010 or 2011 Malta imported a number of 1c coins from belgium & holland and later on we had new german 1c coins, that's why there are a lot of foreign 1c coins in Malta

in 2013, Malta minted new 1 euro cents for circulation - now they are relatively common

A bit late; I know   , but during my trip to Malta in 2013, I received notes on Comino. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suiting postcode.

Did anyone enter notes on Comino and could help me with that?

I ended up entering the notes under Sliema, as it was a boat-trip starting and ending there. Neveretheless, I'm a bit unhappy with the current situation.

Actually Comino (Kemmuna in Maltese) has only 1 postcode, being KMN 1010.

Thank you.. and yes, I joined the Millionaire's club finally.
I entered my note no 1 Million from Milan, which is the same city from where I inserted my first notes on EBT.
