What do you mean? mIRC supports being on two servers at once. Quakenet has also many problems with the so-called lamers. They'd just come to the channel knowing nothing about EBT and saying we're all idiots because we're all idiots because he says so. I'd rather keep them away. We used to have an IRC channel in Quakenet for a while with my friends, but had to move it to IRCnet because of those problems.
Quakenet is also plagued by undemocracy. Quite often I hear about IRC staff complaining that the Quakenet operators do things very unfairly.
And besides, there are about as many users in both Quakenet and IRCnet (IRCnet being nowadays a bit smaller, though), but IRCnet is mostly European, while Quakenet has a much bigger percentage of Americans. There are more Europeans in IRCnet than there are in Quakenet.
We should also remember that Quakenet is primarily for players of Quake and other FPS games. EBT isn't one.
The only positive side I can see in Quakenet is that the people from eastern Europe use it quite a lot.
I've just got huge antipathies towards Quakenet because of what I've seen there before.
IRCnet is also the first and original IRC network, it's European and it's the most free and democratic bigger IRC network out there.
I thought of creating the channel to EFnet or Undernet. They just had the problem that Europeans use practically only IRCnet or in some extent also Quakenet.
