How many times have you moved?
Re: How many times have you moved?
Been living in my parents' house since I was born.
My next move will be to my apartment, but I don't know when it's going to be.

Re: How many times have you moved?
now let us see:
Parents home: Bremen
1st move to Lübeck-Stockelsdorf
2nd move to Hannover-Steuerndieb
3rd move to Hannover Linden
4th move to Hannover Südstadt
my unmarried time, after leaving my parent's house:
5th- 7th move to Nürnberg - in nine months three different places
8th and 9th move to Dortmund - in six months two different places
Moves 5 - 9 were not actual moves, because my real belongings, like furniture etc did move not with me - they were still at my parents place. But I had new postal addresses each time.
Marriage (what bliss)
10th move to new rented flat in Dortmund
11th move to rented flat in Arnsberg
12th move to rented house in Chipstead, Surrey, Great Britain
13th move to own house in South Croydon (Greater London) Great Britain
14th move to rented flat in Aachen, Walheim
15th move to own house in Aachen, Kornelimünster
16th move to own house in Wunstorf - and it looks, as if this was my last active move, because no.17 will probably be to my grave.

Re: How many times have you moved?
Let's see...
Turku -> Mikkeli
Mikkeli -> Nilsiä
Nilsiä -> Sulkava (1st house)
Sulkava (1st house) -> Sulkava (2nd house)
Sulkava (2nd house) -> Kirkkonummi
Kirkkonummi -> Lidingö (1st house)
Lidingö (1st house) -> Lidingö (2nd house)
Lidingö (2nd house) -> Helsinki
Helsinki -> Rome
Rome -> Helsinki
So I've moved ten times and lived in three countries. And I'm only 18 years old.

Re: How many times have you moved?
Born in Emmen, suburb Angelslo, province Drenthe, Netherlands
After seven years my parents moved to Ter Apel, province Groningen where we lived above our tobaccostore.
A few years later they bought a house elsewhere in Ter Apel.
Two years later our store went bankrupt because of a fraudulent bankdirector and we moved back to Emmen, suburb Bargeres.
Six years later we moved house within the suburb of Bargeres, Emmen
I moved to my first own home in the suburb of Rietlanden, Emmen
After six years I relocated to Arkel, province Zuid Holland.
One year later I moved to the nearby city of Gorinchem, Zuid Holland.
Two years after that I moved back to my birthtown Emmen, suburb Bargeres.
After three years I found a job in Hasselt, province Limburg, Belgium so I went over the border to live there.
When I found another job I moved to Leuven, province Vlaams Brabant, Belgium
When my mother got critically ill I lost my job in Belgium due to the frequent visits to her and moved back to Emmen, suburb Bargeres, Netherlands.
Since one year I live in Almelo, province Overijssel, Netherlands
So I moved 13 times.

Re: How many times have you moved?
I have moved three times; most recently last weekend! It was just a couple of hundred metres inside the city of Rotterdam, but I am now the proud owner of my own house (a 4 room apartment)!

Re: How many times have you moved?
I moved 7 times while living 'at home', 5 times while studying for the first time and 6 times with my husband (a few years ago I lived in a university-dorm but that doesn't really count because I spent weekends with hubby).
Total: 18 didn't realise it was so often.
Trice the moving involved more than 2500 km.
