I've moved 6-9 times.
Once to Spain (when I was 6 years old), lived there for 1,5 years.
Then back to the city where I was born (Finland, Tampere). And now i'v moved inside this city about 6 times. And I'm only 19 years old! Nice. :)

Then we moved to Ter Apel where my parents had a tobaccoshop. Wenn the shop closed in 1982 we moved back to Emmen in the suburb Bargeres. 6 years later we moved inside Bargeres to another house.
In 1992 I got a rentalhouse of my own in another suburb of Emmen called De Rietlanden.

In the end of 2002 i moved to Arkel in the province Zuid Holland. Four months later i moved to the neighbouring city of Gorinchem.

In januari 2004 I moved back to my birthground and nowadays I live in the suburb of Bargeres in the city Emmen again.

In total i have moved 7 times in my life.

If my next workplace is far away i consider moving again.
Although I was already staying with my bro for over two months now, the fact that I am living and working in Belgium makes it a fact that I moved here period.

I have also changed my userinfo on the EBT-site now.
So now I am living with my bro and his girlfriend untill I have found a place for my own again. I like the city of Hasselt very much already!

I couldn't vote for my choice: 10 times is neither "6-9" nor "more than 10" (but I went for more than 10) :P

Only once in my first 18 years with my parents, then since I left home, 3 different cities (Cambridge :arrow: Norwich :arrow: Newcastle) and 2-4 different addresses in each city.

1. Vienna, Austria
2. Constance, Germany
3. Guatemala City, Guatemala
4. Santiago, Chile
5. Santiago, Chile
6. Erfurt, Germany

Technically five moves, but I'll count it as six, as I was born in Berlin and "moved" to Vienna after my mother left the hospital...

Either 0 or more than 20 times or even more than 40 times depending on how you look at it.
My home has always been in Dalkey but I worked at sea for a long time and so I lived aboard many ships.
The 2 longest were 11 months on M. V. Highland running between Japan and the Americas and 11 months on the M. V. Atherstone in the Atlantic.

I lived until the year 1990 in the same apartment, but as my family found a bigger house, we moved. I lived there with my mother and brother until January 2008, but then I moved three times until February 2009. Next move is going to be in January 2010. :)

So it's five times at the moment.

By the way, imho moving and all the hassle that comes with it sucks. It would be an ideal situation for me, if I could put all I need to take with me to two shopping bags. Now I need a big van towing a mid-sized trailer for all my stuff. And I'm still living alone! :D

Let's see:

I was born in Amsterdam (NL)
  1. Because the office, where my father worker we moved to Ede (NL) when I was 1.5 years old;
  2. In 2004 I moved to Den Haag (NL), because it was closer to my work (and because my parents moved to a surroundings).
So in totally I moved twice.

I also lived twice for about half a year at two places, but officially I still lived at my parents home, so I didn't count them here:
  1. August 1988-Octobre 1988: in Helmond (NL) (working as part of my study),
    Octobre 1988-February 1989: in Someren (NL) (same work at same adress);
  2. February 1994-August 1994: in Assen (NL) (military service).
