I like to watch movies. Thrillers, historical movies, drama's. A few days ago I hired the movie My little eye. A thriller like the Blair Witch Project but this was played in a house.
I like also historical documentaries and series.

Ah, look at all the lonely Euronotes. Where do they all come from? (The Beatles, Eleanor Rigby)

Let's see .. I use the services of telkku.com for my TV schedule needs, it has a handy feature of being able to select some shows as favorites, they'll show up in boldface on the page when I visit it. It's also a handy source for compiling the list below
Alias
Ally McBeal
Charmed
CSI
ER
Frasier
Futurama
Itse valtiaat (Finnish animation series)
John Doe
La Femme Nikita
Simpsons
South Park
Stargate
Without a Trace
X-Files
I don't usually watch TV that much, but when I do, it's usually one of those. Some of the programs I listed above are currently not shown on TV due to various reasons, but they're listed there in case they start showing those programs again. Well, X-Files is totally finished, but I included in the listing for completeness. I don't really mind at all if I miss one of those programs, except for Alias. That's a must

I have a question related to this thread
Are the foreign language speaking programs in your country subtitled or dubbed?
In dutch speaking countries, other language speaking programs are almost all subtitled, it even goes that far now that we Flemish Belgians get programs made in Holland subtitled for some weir reason and vice versa. Actually only programs for little children get dubbed.
The french and the germans are known for dubbing everything, which I find weird, when I'm watching eg The Godfather, I want to hear also the voice of Marlon Brando and not that one of some weird other person. Can't they read that fast I often wonder
How is this in the rest of Europe, and world?
And how do you feel regarding subtitles or dubbing?

Finnish TV uses subtitles, and that's the way it should be, IMHO. I really couldn't stand dubbed programs. Programs for small children who couldn't read the subtitles anyway are dubbed in Finnish (or Swedish) but that's understandable.
Note for Finnish readers: if you want to experience dubbed programs, go to your DVD player and insert some DVD, chances are that there are various languages on that DVD, both spoken and as subtitles, selectable with your DVD player. I remember watching some DVD for a (short) time with Spanish voice and German subtitles, it was fun (using some weird definition of the word "fun").
