Few things comes to my mind to consider:

- Battery life. Doesn't matter when it's attached to boat or car, but you don't want to have a packbag full of batteries when walking in forest or mountains.

- Small size but reasonably large display would be nice.

- In accuracy there are no big differences, I think.

- Of course a sensible user interface. I'm used to my Garmin, but when I was in my mates boat one time, and tried to find some function on his Magellan, it took some time. I'm not saying Magellan is worse that Garmin, I'm just not used to it.

- Well known make, I would prefer Garmin or Magellan.

I'm using a Bluetooth uplinked GSM module together with my cellphone, and in the cellphone I'm running a navigating application made by Navicore. Works great when driving and when being a pedestrian in cities, too. I'm using a System 80 based Nokia, one of the few phones capable of han´dling more than a single Bluetooth connection simultaneously.

Yes, considering my case I'd say that's very likely.

I have a Magellan Sportrak Pro. I like it a lot. The primary use is for geocahing, altough I always carry it in the car when doing some trips or I need to get to some unusual place (has the complete map of Portugal loaded)

I love Geocaching ;)

This topic was the only result when I searched for "Geocaching".

I´m using a Garmin eTrex Legend HCx.Image

Does anybody know a geocache referred to Eurobilltracker.com?
My idea is to create one introducing our site and maybe to offer the optional possibility to send me note-codes I could input under a new EBT-account called GC***** (same as the cache).
