I am Finnish. I was born in Finland. All my grandparents were born in Finland. Of course, if you go further in the family tree, there are some other nationalities. In my ancestors there are some Baltic Germans, Swedish and also some Polish and Scottish. Probably also Russian. But still, I'm as Finnish as I can be.

I'm Belgian, but I don't know a lot about my ancesters...
The grandfather of my grandfather at my father's side was found as a foundling in the Dutch city of Bladel (hence my last name 'Van Bladel').
I don't really know how they ended up in Belgium.
No one knows where the foundling comes from, but it probably wasn't Dutch.
In my family at my father's side, everyone is rather small, some are thin and have a little darker skin colour (maybe some Spanish or Italian blood, I don't know....), other's are rather fat and look like they're Russians.
The parents of my grandmother at my father's side were Belgian, but they lived for more than 20 years in Rotterdam, NL.
At my mother's side, everything is just boring regular Belgian.
