It would be a logical step when Italy returned Sud-Tirol (South-Tirol) to Austria. But when will it happen?

I think this is a skandal in the EU to have Nations not free, but it is considered not politically correct to speak about it...
Does Bruxelles want an Europe as an Empire?Governed as an Hyperstate iper-statalist or a community of brothers in their own nations free to move?

Aiming at a European Union that is a little more than a bunch of "own nations" is not quite the same as aiming at a "hyperstate".

As for myself, part of my identity is regional, another part is national, and another part is European, hence the "NW · DE · EU" in my profile/location. Saying that "I am not European but German" would make about as much sense to me as saying "I am not North Rhine Westphalian but German".
