Maybe the note has travelled all the way from Switzerland floating in the Rhine!! But perhaps even more special: I had just come back from a 5-month stay in Switzerland for my studies!!! So the note was really waiting there for me!
Maybe the note was in your backpocket and while showing your butt to the north sea you accidentally dropped the note, then immediatelly seeing it after turning around?

So here comes my part:

Some years ago, a friend of mine and me went to school. We share most of our school way, so we walk together. That morning, I had forgotten my sports bag and ran back home to get it. When I came back to my friend, who had walked on, he had found a 200 Euro note.

Since this day, I know fate is NOT my friend!
PS: This friend of mine did, of course, not share this note with me *grml*.

Hi Fellow, I found in the last part of Europe, Cabo Sao Vincente , in Portugal, lying on a shore an Irish 1c from 2003, and on the national side there was a sticker written: "discover me!", I scratched it out and I found a missing coin for my collection!
In France (Les 2 Alpes) 2 weeks ago I found n the floor of a discopub 4 coins by 1€ each, a dutch and 3 french!
When there was still Lire in italy I found in the pool 4000 LIT (4x1000 LIT - 2€) bathing and suntaking! 8)
Last, whil I was in Parma at Univ, I was in the bus sitting and I found a 1 HUF (hungarian Florint!) on the seat! What a strange!

About 8 or 10 years ago i've found 1 note of 100 Dutch Florint (???) lying on the street in my town, a busy street on a Summer Sunday, in Ericeira in Portugal. I still have the note somewhere.

You should all come to visit Koivikkotie here in Helsinki, here are the reasons why

"Koivikkotie" means "birch grove street".

It should be Florin, I'm not sure of how it was named, that's why I've put the (???) after Florint.

This afternoon my father found a €20 note on the grass next to his house. My mother couldn't remember losing a note. When I got there early this evening he asked me the same. I couldn't recall losing one either. I wrote down the number and entered it in EBT and guess what:

It didn't belong to any of us (than it would have been registered before).

You're so lucky!
We don't have that luck, most of our discoveries are coins. Once we found a 5 euro note but at that time we didn't know EBT yet.

Once, me and 2 friends of mine found a lot of coins, 5 euros in 1, 2 and 5 cents coins. Little coins wich worth few but together they were something!
Since then I never got lucky!

My two cents:
The most I've found was a 20€ note. The funny part is, I was walking down a street, then I suddenly stopped and looked to the left, and there it was. I don't know either why I have stopped or why I have looked at it  [X-File theme song plays 8) ]
and.. I'm not joking =| unfortunately I didn't know EBT at the time...

Hey! Portugal is here :D and we've got a mod' here :p
(I rarely see either portuguese people or people who knows portugal on the InterNet...)

I can't find them here.... the site should have a "Search" part where we could find a note, searching for it's comment ;)

"I can't find them here" -> I was referring to the notes I've found, besides that 20€....

Sorry for the misunderstood (in case there was any) ;)
