My avatar is the logo of my student association (I am not sure if this translation is correct enough) of which I am an active member and which is also a source of notes for me. It is named after Johannes van der Waals, Dutch physicist and Nobel prize winner.

It simbolizes Van der Waals's head and the potential (the line) between two atoms (the circles).
