flyers about EBT

Post by Jukepoksi »

I live in Finland in area where is far too few trackers and I've been thinking about different ways of recruiting more EBT users in this area. I bet it would be an interest for many other trackers too to get more users in their own area.

I've been thinking about making some kind of flyers or advertisement that could be printed on A4 paper, for example. They could be offered in public places to people to take along, or you coud give them to people who work with money every day. Maybe someone would interest.

If there was an EBT poster you could put it on the wall somewhere where everybody could see it.

Right now I don't have time and I don't have much experience of making ads, but if there is someone else who thinks this could be great idea and you would be interested of making some kind of printable ad, that woud be great!!

My thought was that if we get any ads, they could be put for everyone download in the "How to help section" of Eurobilltracker site.

Tell what you think about this?

What other ways there is to get more users?

Thanks for the link. That's great to know that there is something going on already.

Newspaper articles about EBT are always a great thing, but it is important how things are introduced in paper, too. Not-so-good article probably would not serve our wish of getting more trackers.

I still think that a downloadable and printable ad would serve trackers all over Europe, the need to get more trackers is not only in Kainuu region.

An english ad (for example) could be translated to as many native languages as wanted.

Maybe we should make a "contest"... some users can create an add (flyer, banner) and we vote for the best. This should be add to the download area or the "where can I help-area".

You should say "En puhu suomea."
That thread is about specific region in Finland called Kainuu. There are not so many EBTers and there have been some discussion about it and how it could be promoted in there.

You know, it was just a trial...

A contest for a flyer is a good idea... does anyone start the "game" ?

Actually the ad above was just a trial, i must develop mine a lot. A least i have to make an english version in case we start a contest.

Not only Rufes, but others too, please bring your ads to the forum if manage to create any. I thing they would be best if they were turned into picture files or pdf's.
