As far as I know, there are new notes from Malta and Cyprus scheduled for this year. I guess Slovakia will follow 2010 :)
Where is the information with the letter E from?

I read it in Wikipedia, that Slovakia has the letter E.
Here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurobankno ... ung.5B3.5D The last Country in the Table.
But there is nothing about the date, when this Notes will be released.

Welcome to Slovakia in the euro zone!

In 2003 I passed a few time in Bratislava (I was in transit), and in 2004 I went in Košice, wich is a very very very very nice town! :D
I hope I'll come back in Slovakia one day, but, alas, I am too old now for to do another inter-rail

Welcome to the euro zone, and I am still waiting the first hit for the town of Košice

No, they are not. Slovak national bank has borrowed banknotes from Austrian national bank to get over first days with euro. It's because Slovakia doesn't have a company which prints banknotes.

I would like to thank martingracko for my second hit with Slovakia which is at the same time my first hit with a user from Slovakia and the first hit over all for Dubnica nad Váhom. To be frank, I never heard of that town before although it got about 25.000 inhabitants and is only about 150 km away from Vienna.
