Yesterday I drank 3 of the blue ones. They're good, but I'm not used to the alcohol anymore...

Sorry for my poor English. I came across this beer while I was trying new beers by chance.

I told the waitress: "A Chimay, please"
And she replied me: "Blue or red?"

I couldn't believe it!!! "Blue or red???????????????" 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

There's also a white version of Chimay...
I haven't drunk it yet, so I don't know if the beer is light, too.

No, it's not. It's got 8 % vol. I wouldn't call any of these three light.

Well.. They probably have the red one in stock because someone might want to drink it. And it's possible that this someone considers red (or why not white) the Default Chimay. Maybe that's the only one he's got in his local bar (which would be creepy) or maybe there's some other reason.
And therefore, it would be bad customer service towards this someone not asking if he would actually want the blue one before just giving him the glass of blue Chimay.
There may also be customers who have never drunk any other chimays than blue and it is good for them mentioning that also red exists.
And then, as the third and last possibility.. Maybe the bar has a lot of red chimay that would go bad within the next month or so and they want to get rid of it.

Anyway.. No I got the feeling that I must go get some gooood Belgian beeeeeeeeeer.

I never had a superbock, but the name is super cool, not to mention the ad. I'd really like to have one now.

I don't know if I mentioned before but I like Louny beer, especially the dark lager. I prefer Grolsch over Amstel. And I'll never find out what's so special about Guinness.
