Windows 2000. I used to have Linux Mandrake 10.0 as a paraller OS until my Maxtor hard drive (where it was located) broke. :(

Fedora Core 4 (Linux), at home and at work. I have both Fedora and XP on my laptop, though.

Ubuntu Linux 5.1 at home, Kubuntu Linux 5.1 at my girlfriend's place.

Why? It's as cheap as possible, it's easier to use than anything aside OSX, it's very stable and it's got a great amount of great programs for free, installable without all the hassle you would need for example in Windows.

Windows XP at home and SuSE Linux in university. When I need to use Linux at home (rarely) I use a Knoppix CD.
