Re: cities - worldwide
I concur with LITO that Zermatt is a ski resort, not a town (but I would also accept the answer in this context, since it is a "city" for EuroBillTracker's purposes). Anyway here's to close the last game with something that is less controversial:
Zurich, Switzerland
And now to go on the current challenge:
Cluny, France
Cluny Abbey
former Benedictine monastery, now one of the campuses of Arts et Métiers ParisTech
(Note: I can't find the building posted by Eriks; it doesn't seem to be the Abbey of La Cambre, which anyway is in Ixelles, not Brussels.)

Re: cities - worldwide
the building Eriks posted is correct, it's inside yard of Notre Dame aux Riches-Claires in Brussels, church and monastery of the nuns of Order of Saint Clare.

Echternach, Luxembourg
Abbey of Echternach (Luxembourgish: Abtei Iechternach)
home of the last traditional dancing procession in Europe
Thanks for the explanation, midoriiro. If I got it right from the sources I've read, an abbey is "a complex of buildings used by members of a religious order under the governance of an abbot or abbess" (Wikipedia article). If this is correct, not all monasteries are abbeys. Not to be too picky but I couldn't find any confirmation that Notre Dame aux Riches-Claires was ever run by an abbess.

lmviterbo: you're right. since in slovak launguage opát, opátka (abbott, abbess) refer to superiors of abbey AND monastery as well, i thought these two formulations are interchangeable. I'm sorry.

Jerusalem, Israel
Abbey of the Dormition (Hebrew: כנסיית הדורמיציון; formerly known as Abbey of Hagia Maria Sion, in reference to the Basilica of Hagia Sion that stood on this spot during the Byzantine period)
It is situated on Mount Zion, which is the name given to Jerusalem's Western Hill, geographically not the same as the byblical Mount Zion.
Also, to obviate the missing abbey for B, some possible solutions would be Børglum Abbey, Denmark; Koningshoeven Abbey, in Berkel-Enschot, Netherlands; Bristol Cathedral, originally St Augustine's Abbey, UK; Benediktbeuern Abbey, Germany; or the following one:
Bergen, Norway
Nonneseter Abbey
A small part of the former abbey church remains in use as a chapel, the Nonneseter kapell ("Nonneseter Chapel")
Please proceed with an abbey on a city or town starting with the letter K.

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Neumünster Abbey (Luxembourgish: Abtei Neimënster, French: Abbaye de Neumünster)
Following extensive renovation works, Neumünster was opened to the public in May 2004 as a meeting place and a cultural centre (Centre Culturel de Rencontre).

Montalcino Italy
Abbey of Sant'Antimo (it.: Abbazia di Sant'Antimo) - it's still used for religious puposes.
After many years of disuse, the abbey was reoccupied in 1992 by a small community of Premonstratensian Canons Regular. Since January 2016, the occupants are a community of monks of the Olivetan Benedictine order.

Naantali, Finland
Nådendal Abbey (Swedish: Nådendalskloster, Finnish: Naantalin luostari)
From several Wikipedia articles: A Bridgettine abbey in then-Swedish Finland, in operation from 1438 to 1591. It was a double monastery, combining a separate community of monks and one of nuns. In Sweden, double monasteries experienced a great revival during the late fourteenth century with the spread of the Order of the Holy Savior- also known as the Bridgettines after their founder, Birgitta of Sweden. Nowadays there remains only a church, serving as the church of Naantali. Swedish is now a very small minority language in Naantali.
