I've noticed that inserting notes takes longer than usual. Since two weeks or so ago, it can take up to 20 seconds before the confirmation appears, while before that it was almost instantaneous. I can browse the site in another tab while waiting for the note insertion, thus filtering out a problem on my side.
Am I the only one experiencing this lag? It completely ruins the timehunting game .

Re: Slow note insertion
Just to make sure, what does http://omgipv6day.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; report for you?
During the nightly database backups the server may be quite slow in processing requests, but other than that, such delays shouldn't exist.
edit: Are you using the HTTPS variant of EBT? Have you tried if it works better with/without HTTPS?
edit 2: Have you tried a different browser or a different computer?
edit 3: If the problem has something to do with the ongoing IPv6 rollout, your results may be different depending on whether you submit your notes to es.eurobilltracker.com or en.eurobilltracker.com (until 12.11.)

I had no problems during the IPv6 day.Am I ready for World IPv6 Day?
Yes. This web browser (at this location) looks safe. You'll just keep using IPv4
I just inserted some notes a couple of minutes ago and it went fine. I often do it arount 7:00 UTC so this may have something to do. I use https://en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
I'll pay some attention during the following days (browser, timeframe, ssl) and will report back.
