The simple note entry form has been revamped and features a much more useful help now.

Great!!

Note: the red asterisk (star) before "Postal code" is misaligned.

City and postal code fields now autocomplete in the simple note entry form, too. The suggestions are based on your previously entered notes.

Autocompletion is now also enabled for the comment field in the simple note entry form.

Autocompletion is not working here on the simple note entry form nor on the advanced defaults. Tried on Chrome. On IE, comment autocompletion doesn't work anywhere. Both Chrome and IE on Win7.

(By the way, for the sake of readibility and easy grouping, the bold "Defaults" line should have an extra paragraph of space before.)

Can you rule out any caching effect? On IE9 and XP it's working fine.

That's most likely a caching effect. The JS scripts have partially been renamed and consolidated. Try to SHIFT-reload the page or clear your browser cache.

Unfortunately it still doesn't work after clearing the cache and shift-F5. :(

What was wrong with the old version ? At least I was able to delete entries I only used once from the list. Can't delete anything from the new list
Would it be possible to replace the comment field to its old spot, just below the serialnumber ? Now it's too close to the OK button. When I type one letter and get the cursor down for completion, a little miscalculation on your cursorspeed leaves the note entered without comment.

The simple note entry form is designed for users which are new to EBT. The fields are now logically grouped - note data, note location, optional comment. A lot of the old mess has been cleaned up. Instead there's now a much more useful help in place.

It's already difficult enough to explain to a new user the concept of printer codes, a field labeled "comment" in the middle of that mess doesn't help.

Btw, only about 40% of EBT users EVER comment a note, i.e. 60% of our users never use this function at all. ~75% of our users don't comment their very first note entered to EBT.
