sorry, but where did you get your numbers from? both the numbers of registered notes (per denomination) and of hit notes (per denomination) are not like the ones one can see on ebt. i enclosed a screenshot of hits per denomination.

i personally think that a combination of the two suggested scales could be interesting, the one adding interestingness in relation to the hit score of this denomination, and the other in relation to the number of hits on ebt.
the following numbers are from this post viewtopic.php?f=45&t=55299&start=30#p1012982 (last chart) and this post viewtopic.php?f=45&t=55299&start=30#p1013016 (numbers approximately)
.1st chart..2nd chart..stat. mean..scaled to 1..100.

this actually reflects my own feelings quite well. if you are not totally happy with the numbers you could just change the weights of the two charts (which have been 1:1).

You guys have failed to read the first paragraph of this topic. If you can not help with the hit interestingness score system, do not clutter this topic with offtopic discussion. I have moved several messages from this topic to the alternative topic. The ”like button” and ”users can rate hits” approaches have already been discussed there. Please continue the discussion about those aspects in that topic, not here.
