(OT?) Where's Where's George?

I have been a WG user for many years now (since 2002). Since I am American, I use $$ both overseas and at home. Since I live and work in Austria, all my bills for WG are being entered from Vienna. But UH-OH! About seven months ago, WG started blocking my Austrian ISP (Austria telekom). So I can no longer enter bills from home. Lucky for me, my workplace uses a diffefrent ISP, and so I end up entereing all my locally-found bills from work.

The problem with this that I find annoying is that people who find my bills here in Europe (or in Africa, Asia, wherever) often cannot enter the bills even if they want to, since the ISPs are blocked.

I had exchanged e-mails with Hank about this several times over the past year, but there is no real solution in sight.

So for now my energies are going into EB-tracker instead...

Have you tried to enter your dollars through a proxy? You could try a free web proxy such as http://anonymouse.org. If that proxy IP address is also banned, you could try these: http://proxy.org/proxies_sorted.shtml (try American proxies first).

I recently tried to enter some dollars through a proxy. But I wasn't able to log in to an account. So I left the notes unentered as I did not want them to be entered anonymiously - their problem...

I am not a WG user because in my home there is only 1 $, souvenir of an ancient travel in USA, but I find a system to connect a WG also from a forbidden computer.
I go to google, I search "where is george", and when I find it ,I click on "translate this page". My google is google.it, so it is "traduci questa pagina", from google.fr it is "traduire cette page", from google.de it is "Diese Seite übersetzen " , from google.ru it is "Перевести эту страницу ", etc.
Doing this operation, it is possible to connect to Dov'è George? , Où est George? , Wo ist George? , Где Джордж? and the translation is very aproximative, but it is a way for connecting

I had a lengthy discussion with the Telecom Abuse people and Hank from Wheres George. Hank claims that there was too much abuse coming in from the telecom line, so access works from other providers like the Wissenschaftsnetz, but not if your provider is Telecom ... He could not be persuaded to arrange a cooperation with the the Telecom abuse people.

It works fine (if you use the second address field...) My ISP is also blocked, but with that webproxy I have access.

I'm a user of Where's George since 2005.

As most of you, I've had troubles accessing the site. I found out that only one Portuguese ISP (the largest one) is blocked. Luckly I use my work connection to register the bills.

So far, I have entered 158 Bills worth $4,382.
