WOW! That's a really neat serial number on that bill! You don't find many like that one. You're a really lucky fellow -- or someone with decent photoshopping acumen...

The latter is more likely... AFAIK it's not possible for a serial number to start with U00, besides the serial turns red if you try to insert it into EBT

Well as U00 is not used afaik that code has to be used one day. Maybe sooner than we are all expecting as some people say the french printers are running out of serials.
On the other hand there should be some amazing serials like that one - what about
X1111 1111 111? It should pass the checksum test. Generally there is one serial like that for each country...for example U7777 7777 777. If anyone of you finds such a bill - let me know.

I'd just hope someone finds one with this stamp...
(the US Cent is for scale- same size as a two euro cent)

I visited Germany in August 2008 and spent 80 or so notes stamped with that on either one or both sides in either red or black.
