Android App EbtNewNote.apk

Hi all,

i think, a new topic for (new) android users and a little hint for downloading and installing the ebt android app is helpfully
(see original iphone thread here)

- Download with a webbrowser like opera or dolphine the app: http://ebt-new-note.googlecode.com/
- save the apk file on your phone
- its possible, start after download the apk file, otherwise use a filemanager like ES File Explorer or similar
- if apk not run, set check mark on phone preferences / Applications / unkown ressources, try again
run EbtNewNote.apk file (.apk files are the same on windows the .exe or .msi files)
- after install mark checkbox preferences / Languages / EBT Keyboard , its usefull for typing the euro serials
(cols and digits on the same screen, no more use the shift key

- Download mit einem webbrowser wie opera oder dolphine die app: http://ebt-new-note.googlecode.com/
- speichere das apk file auf dem Smartphone
- wenn möglich, starte nach dem download das apk file, ansonsten nutze einen filemanager wie ES File Explorer o.ä.
zum finden der gespeicherten Datei
- wenn de apk sich nicht starten lässt, setze die Checkbox unter Einstellungen / Anwendungen / unbekannte Quellen,
danach versuche es erneut mit der EbtNewNote.apk Datei (.apk files sind unter windows sowas wie .exe oder .msi files)
- nach der Installation die checkbox Einstellungen / Sprache / EBT Keyboard setzen, das ist eine neue Tastatur zum
eingeben der euro Nummern (Zahlen und Buchstaben sind auf einer Oberfläche, man muss nicht mehr mit Shift wechseln)

Thanks to your detailled instructions, I managed to install the app on my phone
(maybe you can add that the phone asks "Datei durchsuchen oder App-Verwaltung" (search file or app-administration) when you open the apk-file, I chose the latter).

The EBT-keyboard is a good idea and it's easy to switch to it (enabling it in the administration, then a circle appears in the android keyboard, there you can change it).
BUT:
1. how do I come back to the android keyboard?
2. how can I press the space key, if there is?
3. how to avoid writing everything in capital letters?

I couldn't use app, I tried three times and it said everytime "Unknown reply, status of note not known. Please see the EBT website to make sure your bill got entered properly".
I double-checked my e-mail and password, seems everything fine, I don't know where the problem is. Another user mentioned on the IRC chat that it might be a problem with the ISP.
