Hoppa is working in a nice place, as he receives many international notes. It's a nice thing and he truly deserves them!

It was also nice to see eight Netherlandish hits in a row this morning! That's huge. Almost like we have here in Finland. :)

Recent Greek Hits

Post by scb »

These two recent Greek hits are too similar for me to believe they are real:

http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... ;id=328350
http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... id=4520449

In both cases Dutch person visiting Crete in September finds Dutch 10 euro note printed in Germany. Then in November another Dutch person finds the same note back in the Netherlands.

Does it seem real based on your experiences?

HNL explained the first hit in the Dutch forum.
from the comment on the second hit ("crete unknown") i'd say it's a bill that travelled with user hawkje to Holland ?
I'm not really sure about the second hit though.

PS there's a special topic for discussing this kind of thing in the subforum "eurobilltracker users"

I believe those two hits are real, but it's obvious the bills has traveled with them back to homeland. Althought I would hold them as interesting hits. If this kind of hits wouldn't be considered as interesting, then we would get just very few international hits. :(

I got a very nice hit today. When i left at work i was thinking that maybe i should go and change some money to get more bills in Finland :) I tried to change 190e to 5 euro bills but cashier didn't have that much of notes in cash desk and i told that she don't have to go and get those missing bills from strongroom, just give me 10 euro bills for rest.

And i'm very glad for that decision

and that word "ryppyinen" means wrinkled
