You can copy this file into your personal codes_belgium.txt - or use the original name codes_belgium_dots.txt.
Could you post a zip with all your txt-files in it. At that way, we are all updated :)

Nice work by the way!

I have a small problem with locations consiting of only one character. The format

80190;Y=Y

doesn't seem to work, because all my notes with postalcode 80190 have been given to Y

When I look at my hit ratio, my hit ratio is 92,10. But the graph of the hitratio only goes down to just under 200. My international hit ratio is 192.
When I also plot the hitrate myself, the graph does not match, especially how later it is.

I think this graph only plot the international hit ratio. Can it be changed that the graph is the comple hit ratio?

And a small change in the layout of the graph: I think it looks better if the lower bound of the graph is at least a multiple of 100, and not "the lowest hitratio of the graph". I think for hit ratios as low as 200, the lower graph can be set to 0.

This was last May (about a UK post code file):
R/J wrote:I figured out the problem. NIG now works on the full UK postcode, so for example CT18 8XX or N1 9AL (postcodes for one of my notes and a hit in London), but in the most ideal case, it should only regard the first two letters or the first letter and number (in the previous cases CT and N1).

I notice that the Dutch postcodes are also treated in a similar matter, in this case only the four numbers are used, the letters are ignored.

The big question is then of course: How to make the UK postcodes work in a similar way?
Today I dug up the file-in-progress and looked at it again. It still doesn't work as it should be, but I'll try putting the file online tomorrow anyway. (With some notes on how it does work.)

Also, there's a new version of NIG and I've found a bug or glitch. In the Special Operations/Simple Charts, you cannot see the line charts, but as you save them and open the picture file, they look OK.
Second, I cannot find where the promised new chart is.
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

As promised, the United Kingdom post code file should now be online here. (I don't really know how to make it an automatic download.)

Disclaimer: it doesn not work, but you can make it work (as described in the file itself).

I'll update my own stats with my personal version of this file in a few minutes.

Edit: there now is something like this:
Countries of the United Kingdom 1/4
England 4

Postcode Areas (2 letters) 2/121
Cx 1/10
CT (Canterbury) 2
Wx 1/9
WC (London Western Central) 2

Edit2: And here (scroll down)

Feedback appreciated.
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

I've seen your results, in my opinion its really nice the division of UK into the countries (England, Scotland, etc...).
I don't like very much the division in alphabetical order, I think it would be much interesting to divide them as Group per country and subgroup per county, as they are divided administratively
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counties_o ... ed_Kingdom" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
For me the outcome would be better (and of course you can keep the division in alphabetical order as well... )
All other Countries are arrenged in such way: Regions, Provinces and Municipalities (1st, 2nd and 3rd administrative level).

Hello
Thank you for NIG, i love it and all these statistics.

I have some ideas for some new statistics.

First I think some more time stats are fine, it could look like that for the actual stats
7 / 7 weekdays BINGO: 05.05.2003 after 50 active days, 100 days since registration and after 250 notes.
24 / 24 hours BINGO: 04.04.2009 after 1480 active days, 1950 days since registration and after 49000 notes.
155 / 168 weekdays*hours; 5 weekdays finished
555 / 744 days*hours; 0 days finished
1440 / 1440 hours*minutes BINGO: 05.05.2009 after 1500 active days, 2000 days since registration and after 50000 notes.
3600 / 3600 minutes*seconds BINGO: 05.05.2009 after 1500 active days, 2000 days since registration and after 50000 notes.
6000 / 10080 weekdays*hours*minutes; 0 weekdays + 5 hours finished
20000 / 86400 hours*minutes*seconds; 0 hours + 0 minutes finished
25000 / 604800 weekdays*hours*minutes*seconds; 0 weekdays + 0 hours + 0 minutes finished
And maybe some tables with monthly updates for every time range:
Weekdays:
.............Weekdays...Days(total)...days(active)...notes...notes per tracked weekday
Month1: 2..............2..............1................5.........5/2 = 2.5
Month2: 4.............33..............25..............50........50/4 = 12.5

BINGO 7............100.............50..............250........250/7 = 35.7
And the same for hours, weekdays*hours, days*hours, hours*minutes, minutes*seconds, weekdays*hours*minutes, hours*minutes*seconds, weekdays*hours*minutes*seconds.

A hit Bingo for km and days, as it can be found here:
http://forum.eurobilltracker.com/viewto ... 11&t=10373" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and here:
http://forum.eurobilltracker.com/viewto ... 11&t=10372" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Some hit-average thing:
50 hits (10%) are faster (km/h) than the average of your hits.
10 hits (1%) travel more km away than the average.
10 hits (1%) travel more days than the average.
I like the hit-country Bingo from here:
http://ylivieska.tripod.com/prov.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Another Bingo, hit-location Bingo A-Z
All locations, my locations, hitpartner-location.
All in one Bingo and one for every country.
That will be some combinations:
-All locations in every country
-all locations in Germany
-all locations in Netherlands

-My locations in every country
-My locations in Germany

-Hit-partner location in every country
-Hit-partner location in Germany
-Hit-partner location in Netherlands
-Hit-partner location in Austria
That was it about new stats, now some things about the program.

Is it possible to let the program start faster?
If I want to search a note or only want one or two stats, I have to wait minutes until all is loaded.
I think it would be better if the csv-files where analyzed when I click the “Create Statistics”-Button and not when the program starts.

Another small thing is it possible to get anchor-links to the headlines/tables of the html-stats-files.
With these anchors it is possible to set a link to a special stat which is not on top of the site.

Just found a little bug: if you press "create statistics" (CTRL-S), and you want to exit the form by pressing the little X on the right top corner (thinking it will not create statistics), it will still create statistics.

Each morning, using Excel 2007, I make a list with the seconds on it, on which I entered a note.
With the help of this list I try to fill in the gaps with notes that I have available at that moment.
In this way I try to fill in every second in a hour with at least one note.
I am doing this for months now and I would really like to see my results in the form of a table.

I do this all for my HH:MM:SS list.
I do know of other EBT-ers that are also working on this.

Here is my question for Bobtail:

Is it possible to make a table at the page Time Analysis of NIG with 24 x 3600 crosses so that I and other interested persons can see the results.

With kind regards,
Henk

Sure. I'll probably add it as a separate thing to run from the menu or I'll have to add a way to switch it off, because the table will be quite huge.. A time analysis page for hits is coming at some stage too. Maybe only the hit partners' times will be included in those bingo tables..

hello Bobtail,

just a little idea for the time analysis.
you already give the number of bills entered within 1 hour, but can't you also give the number of combinations already achived in an hour, so maximum 3600 (60 minutes x 60 seconds)

Very nice to read that NIG is evolving to JIG. :D

I also like the special yli-stats e.g. first locations split out per year.
But an old problem surfaces again there. NIG cannot recognise locations with the same name in different countries.
For example I have Hasselt in The Netherlands and in Belgium but in the tables they are added up. Also corrected locationnames appear there. For example I have Ter Apel, but at some moment I entered them as Ter apel but later corrected them. Now Ter apel is in the table with 0 notes entered.
Can this problem be solved in the next generation NIG (JIG)?

Keep up the good work. I really like NIG and it gives alot of joy!
