A feature request in a support request:

Hi EBT team, It would be nice if there is a short summary shown after multiple notes have been added. After a bank visit I can then quickly check if I have entered all notes (number of notes and the value sum in euro). Example: You have entered 13 notes - value: 530 euro.

Hmmm... and why not a webchat? I bet there are tenths of solutions packed for PHP. Ajax better than Flash .

I've got a question.

At the dutch forum, we've opened a poll to guess when the 500,000th hit will appear (it's almost there).

But the question is, which number of hits is correct ?

If you look at the right column (in the section "Total .:") it says: "Interesting hits .: 489 540"
But if you look at this page it says: "Our users had 498 144 hits in total."
What is the correct number????

(or does did mean, that there're 8604 hits moderated?)

There are now 2 maps available in the personal referral section. One plotting the hometowns of your referrals and one plotting their combined dotmaps.

The latter is only available if you have 10+ referrals who entered at least one note. If not it will only show the combined dotmap of those who explicitly share their maps.

Shouldn't those maps be added to the Share maps section (under Settings)? I'd love to see other ebtists' referral maps, if they allow me to.

This will probably stay blocked for the same reason why the referrer gets to see the dots only after 10 referrals: privacy.

I meant the first of the 2 maps (referrals' hometown). Only the combined dotmaps is unavailable unless you have 10+ referrals.

Refinement request.

On My Note Statistics (my_notes/?command=134218240;tab=1), the drop-down list near "Select a country" hasn't accommodated an extra line as elsewhere, so the Vatican City (or whichever country within the Eurozone is last in alphabetic order in each language) doesn't show unless you click on the down arrow.

I guess this should be an easy fix.

The new little feature about referrals made me think about the possibility to have a new tab in the Support system, something like "mark as referral" / "mark as referred", or something like that.
Let me explain. A long time ago, I told to a friend about EBT. He later joined (without me knowing), but of course he didn't use any link with my referral code. Anyway it is clear to the both of us that he joined thanks to my recommendation.
It would be great if I could mark him as referred. Then an automated mail could be sent to him, to ask for confirmation.
On the contrary, he could also be able to mark me as his referral (okay, I'm not proficient enough in English to find the correct word for this let's say I'm his mentor? ). Similarly, an automated mail would be sent to me, to receive confirmation. Obviously this choice should be allowed only once: you can't change the name of the user who brought you to EBT, once you set it.

I don't know. I understand that probably it would be much ado about nothing, as it would require a lot of work and produce little result.

You can send a general request, than we can add this User to your referal list.
