Are the bills being entered into the site real?
Hey sorry if this is a really stupid question but, im new to the Eu. I moved from the USA las t August to Spain and the switch from Dollars to Euros went pretty nicley (even though I still consider the euro to be a very flimsy piece of money) anyway, I have a question about the sit. It seems to me that all the bills people enter are fakes. What I mean is, If you look at a bill someone entered, the short code is Pxxxx and the serial number is Gxxxx123xxxx. On all the bills ive gotten, none of them have looked like this and I thought there could only be one letter in the serial number followed by 11 digits. Can anyone verify my suspicions and help me to understand if they are real bills being entered or fake.

Every x stands for a digit. (Similar to the asterisks you see when enter a password on a computer). The full serials are concealed from the public. If these serials were publicly accessible people would be able to just copy & paste them in order to fake hits.

Well Santa Cruz is all right x is just a placeholder...
Nonetheless there are fakers entering notes they don't own into the system. As there is a group of users (calling themselves the 'cleaning girls') persecuting these fakers faking should be considered a pure waste of time.
