well - to explain for both of you : I've made several webpages myself using simple html and a little bit php , and I read everything written in this forum about how to add pics here but all my tries first were without any satisfying result ... the images just didn't show up .... I edited the post several times (that's why you can see the pics now ).... in addition I also didn't work on my own pages for a long time and had forgotten how I organised images in my own folders ... well, well ...
it works now ... lol
but thanks for asking ... and looking....

yes, my tells me that Gerlin used wrong url syntax. Other browsers probably know that no confusion is possible by just fixing the wrong characters, because the wrong characters cannot appear in an url anyway.

Your way works on some computers, but not on all. / is the normal one, while \ is the one used only in Windows. I don't know why they decided to use it backwards in Windows, but that is used nowhere else than in Windows
