Now I start do understand your system. In Portugal each parent city is an "independent" city, this mean that they do not contain other cities (cities, towns, villages and small villages).klapotec wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 11:57 amDepends how you define independent that's why I said distinct.Castanhola wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 11:13 amThank you. So if Wörth am Rhein is the municipally, this means that Büchelberg is an independent city? This means that you organise the locations in CityManager by municipality?
In Germany, distinct locations in the same municipality are added to the same profile (that of the municipality), with some exceptions (airports). Contrast with Austria, where distinct locations get their own profile, and municipality is handled more like in Portugal or Slovenia.
Is there a simple way to know if a location is an "independent" city or not? How do you call it? Ort? Stadt?
Sorry for all this questions. For the moment I search in GoogleMaps and on Deutsche Post, but it is not clear for me all the times and I still have lots of German places with notes to enter.
Sorry for all those questions. For the moment I searched GoogleMaps and Deutsche Post, but it was not clear for me every time and I still have many German places with notes to enter. The most confused are those near big cities (Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, München, etc.).
For example, my last question with the Airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden. I enter the notes in Rheinmünster instead of Stollhofen. Should I use Flughafen Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden?
