Thanks Isabetta for this wonderful hit (altough it was in 2014). I don't have much hits with italy but this one is fantastic! 8O

The note wasn't in a good condition - you can see, it was a long journey. ;)

Cosa calcola?

I found this old message in the Off-Topic-Thread

http://euro.ernie-hh.de/regions/EU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope I can tell you roughly how ernie_hh is counting the Points (Punktewert).

If you put your mouse on the :flag-eu: Flag you will see that there are (now) 3604 (calculated) Dots possible. In real it will be less, because in :flag-fi: not every Dot is possible to track. So in the future ernie and me we will see which Dots are there possible... so sometimes the summary of Dots is changing.

In :flag-it: we counted first 404, now we see that there are two Dots (406) more possible. One of them I get already ;-) So I have now 401 / 406...
The Island "Montechristo" we marked as "not possible" because there is no shop, bar and you have to wait for 3 years to go perhaps to the islands.....(we read it at Wikipedia).

Back to the Points:

When you get a Dot, you get now for the "Punktewert" 0,0002775 Points (1 Dot / 3604 possible Dots)
If you have ALL Dots from a country you get 1.000 Points - you must not get the Dot IN the Country. That is not possible to calculate with ernie's script.

If you get a Dot which is laying about 3 Countries you get for every Country 0.0002775 Points
For example: The Dot with Villach (A) inside is counting for :flag-at: :flag-si: & :flag-it:

Look at my "completed countries": :flag-be: :flag-cy: :flag-ie: :flag-lu: Image :flag-mt: :flag-nl: Image :flag-si: Image
10 Countries completed, so I have 10.xxx Points

In fact: If someone will have at the end ALL 22 Countries he will have 23.000 Points :!:
22 x 1.000 for 22 Countries + 1.000 for complete :flag-eu: counting.

In the list is everyone who is registered here.

I hope it helps you a little bit to understand, because In reality, the calculation for the Dots is slightly more accurate and complicated ;-)

EDIT 04.01.2015:

Use

http://euro.ernie-hh.de/maps/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and click the Flag(s) on the left side to see which Dots are counted for the Country....
click = on/off function

("Full Dotgrid" and some local german flags until now without function (all in Beta))
Grüße vom/Greetings from :flag-de: Niederrhein
