Sleeping arrangements: Stay with a fellow EBT-er!
Hey,
In this thread you can help eachother out with sleeping arrangements for EBT Meeting on 6-7-8 August 2004:
Tell everybody how many people can stay at your place.
Format:
1. How many sleepingplaces + male or female preferred?
2. How far from Brussels (in time)
3. Which days (friday to sunday or ....?)
4. Costprice (We all hope for free offcourse, but if there are any costs tell us)
5. Which languages you speak (and offcourse understand )
6. What do they need? Sleeping bag/air-matress/...
7. Other things that are important.
If you are looking for a place to stay, just PM the one who has offered a place to stay and arrange the details with eachother.
If the one who offers a place to stay is booked or full, he or she should remove the contents of his/her offerposting.
Attention:
1. If someone sleeps at your place, you are responsible for picking them up and dropping them back at a point agreed on. (Railwaystation/airport) and to bring them to the EBT-Meeting!
2. Although you get a place to stay for free, it's polite in belgium to offer something small in return. (bottle of wine or flowers or chocolates or maybe something small from your country,...)
3. When you have things arranged, exchange mobile phonenumbers. Please do so before the meeting!
Come on Belgian EBT-ers. I'm counting on you guys and girls to show Europe how hospitable Belgians are!

1. Two places (2 females or 2 males or one couple) (Sorry, I have only one room)
2. How far from Brussels (in time) (30-45min) in a place called Hasselt
3. Can stay from Fridayevening to sundayevening
4. Costprice is FREE.
5. I speak English and Dutch
6. What do they need? Sleeping bag is enough.
7. Other things that are important: I prefer non smoking persons and persons around my age (31). Let's say between 25-40

Hm, time to bring this topic back alive. My brother and I might be able to stay over at the house of a friend of mine, who lives in Leuven. However, he is not sure whether he will still be living there by August
So.....if there's someone be able to create 2 places to sleep, we would be very grateful (even 2 matresses would be great, we can ofcourse bring our own stuff, and maybe even air-beds, so in that case we'll only need space with a roof above it )

Ok, he told me he isn't going to be able to provide us with a place to sleep. Is there anyone in or around Brussels who could give us a couple of square meters to put our air-beds? We won't be annoyingChiel wrote:Hm, time to bring this topic back alive. My brother and I might be able to stay over at the house of a friend of mine, who lives in Leuven. Ok, as it seems that we're not going to be able to stay with an EBT-person: Here is an internetsite on which you can book a hotel (in Dutch)

If you can't find any EBTer to host you, check http://www.hospitalityclub.org/ for free accommodation :)
I've found a sleeping place for almost every place I'm gonna visit on my Tour-de-Europa from that site :)
