EBTM06: New procedure to ensure ebtmeeting quality

Since the participants of EBT-Meetings are growing, we should be attentive of the fact that the organisation of the next international meeting(s) is done well and that all participants (national or international) get personal care if needed.

All participants of EBTM04 and EBTM05 were very positive about the meeting and we should maintain a high standard of the meeting. A bad meeting can have a negative effect on EBT it self. Many top-users are present on international meetings and we don't want to loose one of them because of a mediocre or even bad meeting.

So that's why we have come up with a checklist of conditions for candidate organisers and candidate cities. Do mind that this list is not obligatory. If you are a candidate organiser/organising team and you don't have one of the 'conditions', you still can candidate to organise the event and make a chance to actual organise it. You should see this as a sort of guidelineslist. The more conditions met, the higher chance you have to organise. You can find the list in this topic

When all the candidate-organisers are known, the former main-organisers of an international EBTM will check out the candidates and filter out the best of them. That EBTM jury will base their filtering out of candidates based on their past experience, the guidelines and the likelyhood of a good meeting.

The candidates who make this jury-round will be up for a vote for the whole EBT-Community in the EBT meetingforum. The candidate-organiser/organisingteam who makes this EBT meetingforum vote, will organise the next international EBTM and has full control over the event.

The jury will be checking once in a while if everything is on track and can help out with tips/tricks or give you some ideas.

The jury will be the group of former main organisers of an official international Eurobilltrackersmeeting. This year it will be Mr Euro (EBTM04) and Avij (EBTM05). Next year, the jury will be added with the mainorganiser of EBTM06 and so on.

Please, this new procedure will raise some questions, but remember, this procedure is been discussed behind the EBTscreens with several people and is not anymore open for change.
