Detailed statistics (like on EuroTracer) ?

Is it possible to get detailed note statistics (similar to what they do on EuroTracer) ?
For example, I would like to get serial numbers of U* bills with L012A1 short codes. It's possible on EuroTracer, but not on EBT.
Thanks,
Marc

Not really, as NIG only works (as far as I know) on notes that I have entered, not on the full database.
I can't imagine that the main EBT database is not available for statistics. At least, is it possible to export it via CSV files ?

Note data is private, so it is neither possible to view more detailed serial numbers on the main site, nor to export them to a CSV file. The main reason is not to make it too easy for fakers (Eurotracer's showing much more of the serial number than EBT has repeatedly been used as a basis for entering fake serial numbers on EBT). And fake entries (i.e. ones that the user never had in their hands but mostly calculated or extrapolted from existing serial numbers - or parts thereof) pollute the database, so EBT will not publicly show more of the serial number than currently.

Visible shortcodes would be nice, as well as visible significant numbers of notes (as defined here), instead of the (rather random) 5th until 8th digit of the serial.

That's OK.
EuroTracer doesn't show much of the serial numbers either (only 8 digits/11). The drawback is that their database is 30 times smaller...

What I like in EuroTracer is that it's possible to get statistical data such as 'When was the first 5€ U*/L019* note ever seen ?' (answer: Oct 2nd, 2005).

I disagree. ET hides only 2 of the 11 digits. The third is the control number and can be calculated.

without interfering with any numbercontrols, here is the list of all L012A1 numbers possible:

:note-5: U013000000* - U0130999999*; U0131000000* - U0131999999* and U0132000000* - U0132999999*
:note-10: U012600000* - U0126999999*; U0127000000* - U0127999999* and U0128000000* - U0128999999*
:note-20: U013300000* - U0133999999*; U0134000000* - U0134999999* and U0135000000* - U0135999999*
:note-50:, :note-100:, :note-200: and :note-500: do not have L012

But to be honest (I ussually am :) ) I do not understand your problem.

I am using Eurotracer for a while now and I hope many EBT-ers also from outside Germany (especially from smaller EBT-countries) are willing to copy their EBT-notes to Eurotracer too. Eurotracer has a great statistics tool, I use it for example when I want to know where most VA16% notes are found.

You can automatically import your EBT-notes via this tool, with a maximum of 10.000 notes per time. So if you have more than 10.000 bills on EBT first enter bill 1 - 10.000 and enter 10.001 - 20.000 an hour later, etcetera. You can also copy your bills anonymously, just enter anonymous as ET user name.

I hope you all copy your notes, because the more notes in the database the better the statistics. At the moment there are almost 4.000.000 bills in the database.
