Hello,

I want to present just another offline statistics application (nigmm).
It's free software, provided as is, without any warranty or responsibility. Seems to work on Windows 7&10 (32-bit).
It's NOT replacement for NIG or EBTST tools.

Latest version: 0.071 (04.01.2020)
- Signatures updated
- Added F/F (Bulgaria) printer
Next update: ~some day; only signature changes in near future

Available at github pages here.

Hello tt.01 can you post some more information and screenshots about your application? Which stats are available in your tool?

First impressions:
  • Amazingly fast (for my 16k notes, really in a flash). Definitely faster than NIG, way faster than EBTST.
  • The exact same feel of NIG, with readibility improvements.
  • All the stats that NIG had (I think) plus some more.
  • Missing some stats of EBTST (namely Regions, maybe more).
  • Downloading it in Chrome gave me a warning message. I downloaded it on Firefox. No warning message. Checked the zip file with Microsoft Security Essentials: apparently, safe.
  • No easy way of exporting the data.
I'm very impressed! Thanks for the work, tt.01.

I thank you for your effort, just letting anyone who may be interested know that it doesn't seem to work on Win Vista (32 bit).

Hi tt.01 ,
here's the first enhancement requests, mainly concerning design.
- Menu table is a little small, I'd make it 220 px.
- Serie should read Series.
- Europe should read Europa (and is at times named 2013).
- Huge table should have cell borders (like NIG) to improve readability.
- Inter-page links (name links) would improve navigation.

- Glitch in the Location/Place, Postcode page
Most of my postcode 50969 entries are righty in Cologne, but 2 are in Kerpen.
Most of my postcode 50937 entries are righty in Cologne, but 11 are in Brühl.
You can see what I mean in http://www.hudli.de/tralla23/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Keep this up! Please...
Tralla

Hi,

Thank all for the comments. I will (slowly) do updates.

Few combined answers:
- It's fast enough just because application does not create graphics on the fly. Image generation definitely will slow down. No plans for graphs.
- All location information (country, place) is coming only from your csv file. App just shows it as is.
Tralla, could you check your notes csv regarding to 50969 entries in Kerpen, and 50937 entries in Brühl and let me know the result by email ? I will do the app check from my side as well.

- Adding regions statistics will be more complicated as it's a lot of other input data.
- Sorry, no even simple GUI at the moment.
- I can check app only under Win7 (32bit). It's built under Win7, and should work under Win7 and theoretically under Win8.
Montgomery Burns, thanks for info. I am not sure what might happen on Win Vista.

- Currently available statistics are:

Notes
Notes activity
Notes by denomination
Notes by serie
Notes by signature
Notes by country
Notes by printer
Notes by combination
Huge table
Location: country
Location: place
Location: postcode
Notes by year
Notes by month
Notes by day
Notes by weekday
Notes by hour
Top used note comments
Hits
Hits activity
Hits by denomination
Hits by serie
Hits by signature
Hits by country
Hits by printer
Hits by combination
Hits analysis (top hits by most kilometres, top hits by most days, etc.)
Hits by year
Hits by month
Hits by day
Hits by weekday
Hits by hour
Hit list

Please send me information regarding to bugs and enhancement requests by email.

After installation of the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package" - as you requested in the readme.txt-file - no problems for me with my 370.000 notes at Windows Vista!

Hi tt.01
Thanks for the work. I've also added your stats in my signature.
I wanted to ask if in the page "location country" you can add other charts like these. Thank you.

As an answer, I'm reposting what tt.01 has written above:

I'm starting to write a big document with a thorough comparison among NIG, EBTST and nigmm. I will upload it to Google Docs and share it publicly as soon as I have the first 5 sections completed.

Good that it works on Win Vista.

My nigmm application is very similar to NIG, but much simpler. That's according to the plan :). It's made with similar look & feel; comparing to NIG statistics (some parts changed, some are not planned at all and some still to be done at some point).

Regional statistics - no plans. "Regional data" is big piece of information, which I am not willing to maintain. Just my opinion, I think that the best case will be if this data will be available directly from EBT in some downloadable format, and then 3rd party applications can use it. But this is only very far future ideas and requires collaboration.

Hello tt.01,
update working well, see link in my .sig.
You might want to add your standard stars for "last added" in the short code page - which I adore, one of my favourite stats.
:) Tralla
