That would be super-awesome to study the frequency of each second letter on these few special double second letters plates. Those stats are otherwise really difficult to know.

EBTCheck Mega Chart

Post by marty44 »

I don't know if someone need this... EBTCheck creates now a Mega Chart. Example: http://ebtcheck.marty44.net/ebtcheck/st ... 0x2160.png

Right now I have no A3 printer, I would like to test how a printout looks :)

I don't have any printer but I could try to print it in a copy shop as a test. I can't do it in the next days though.

Ideally, if they have 17"×11" (ledger/tabloid) paper size, this is probably the best fit, assuming that you'd want to keep the original image aspect ratio of 16/9 and establish equal margins all over. It would print as follows:
rsz_megachart_on_ledger.png
rsz_megachart_on_ledger.png (48.7 KiB) Viewed 1249 times
printed area: (34.82+1/70) × (19.58+1/70) ≈ 34.83 × 19.59 cm
paper (ledger = 17" x 11"): 43.18 × 27.94 cm
margins: 4.17+1/350 ≈ 4.17 cm
image: 3840x2160 pixels
image size @ 200 dpi: 48.768 x 27.432 cm (apply reduction of c. 71.43% to fit to the established printed area)
image size @ 300 dpi (better): 32.512 x 18.288 cm (apply enlargement of c. 107.14% to fit to the established printed area)

Still assuming you want equal margins and keeping it 16/9, then, on A3, the final result will be less harmonious, and unfortunately too short:
rsz_1rsz_megachart_on_isoa3.png
rsz_1rsz_megachart_on_isoa3.png (40.92 KiB) Viewed 1249 times
printed area: (28.1+1/70) × (15.8+1/70) ≈ 28.11 × 15.81 cm
paper (A3): 42 × 29.7 cm
margins: 6.94+1/350 ≈ 6.94 cm
image: 3840x2160 pixels
image size @ 200 dpi: 48.768 x 27.432 cm (apply reduction of c. 57.65% to fit to the established printed area)
image size @ 300 dpi (better): 32.512 x 18.288 cm (apply reduction of c. 86.47% to fit to the established printed area)

A larger solution is printing on a 50 × 70 cm paper (if it's possible) and frame it. This is a very common and cheap frame size (check for example Ikea Fiskbo). It would print as follows (unfortunately, with big margins, to keep the aspect ratio and equal margins):
rsz_megachart_on_framed50x70.png
rsz_megachart_on_framed50x70.png (73.84 KiB) Viewed 1249 times
printed area: (45.7+1/70) × (25.7+1/70) ≈ 45.71 × 25.71 cm
paper (50 × 70 cm, framed without passe-partout, viewable area): 69 × 29 cm
margins: 11.64+1/350 ≈ 11.64 cm
image: 3840x2160 pixels
image size @ 200 dpi (better, probably): 48.768 x 27.432 cm (apply reduction of c. 93.74% to fit to the established printed area)
image size @ 300 dpi: 32.512 x 18.288 cm (apply enlargement of c. 140.61% to fit to the established printed area)

All the images above are just drafts, all at 1:10 scale, for comparison. Anyone can print with the above specifications. Or find better ones, of course. :)

Marty,

Is it possible that :note-5: Z020 (Europa) don't register properly in the plate bingo? I have entered several of these, but on the plate bingo it doesn't get marked.

Hi Tracktor19
according to me your :note-5: :flag-eu: Z020/Z are correctly registered
the colour of your Z020 is yellow or gold, that means between 100 and 499 banknotes

Oh ok, now that you mention it, it's indeed different from the grey. Must be getting colour blind :D

Idea from Castanhola and lmviterbo: Notes Explorer shows now hit date and is searchable
To use this new feature, please upload again notes and hits CSV files (reason: internal database layout change)

V018/VB (not VA)

MD goes a least until 951 (VB9519 = V018H1).

(Proof: there's a VB9503 V018 MD for sale on Delcampe; all V/V :note-50: notes have been following the same scheme from note zero, and cycle 488 goes from 9480 on A5 to 9519 on H1).

I know of one :note-50: V018 CL only. It's he one reported above by Seltaeb and it's on cycle 495, which starts from VB976.

Now we need to find out what is the signature on notes in the following cycles:
489 VB9520-VB9559
490 VB9560-VB9599
491 VB9600-VB9639
492 VB9640-VB9679
493 VB9680-VB9719
494 VB9720-VB9759

(By the way: taking into account that V019 starts on VB98 — that is, cycle 496, this also means that :note-50: V018 CL are certainly uncommon, and the Sohier's catalogue should reflect its rarity on the quote value. A number between 4 million and 28 million V018 CL have been printed.)

Inviterbo, en muchas ocasiones se solapan las planchas.

Un ejemplo cualquiera:

:note-50: V

VB5420 V015 (ciclo 386)
VB5520 V014 (ciclo 389)
VB5530 V014 y V015 (ciclo 389)
VB5540 V014 (ciclo 389)

Tengo dos billetes con numeración VB55307, uno es V014 y otro V015.

En principio es de suponer que no ocurra con los Lagarde Vo18.
