I have just withdrawn first 70 Euros from the ATM. They were printed in various countries (Germany, Italy and UK for Portugal) and were in excellent condition - but not new. That way it is even more likely that some of the 2bn euros are marked.

I think you will have to wait till 2008, when Slovenia will issue its own series of banknotes (existing notes / € 10 and € 20 / which I have withdrawn today on ATM were already used notes)
The journalist with whom I made the interview last year on the Slovenian radio asked me to put him in contact with the Slovenian Translator of the website and a Slovenian Top User (Koper ?).
He was to make another radio transmission on EBT. This is a great opportunity for Slovenia ! Please, send me by PM your coordinates (email, telephone and name) and I will forward it to him.
Please, respond rapidly to this invitation : journalists hate to wait !
I tried to make contact with Koper, the Top Slovenian user with some 3.6K notes entered, but haven't found him... If someone knows him please tell him to get in touch with Phaseolus.

The questions will be mainly about what you like about EBT and the euro. If needed, I have got some stuff (in English) ready for you. You know, don't be afraid of journalists : they are just men...
I'm guessing here, but perhaps the idea is to accustom people slowly to the idea of notes with high denominations. The highest banknote was 10.000 tolar, which is under 42 EUR.
(Not strictly related: Quite a few shops in Ljubljana have put notices in their windows that they won't accept 200 or 500 EUR notes. Very nice city, by the way.)
I would also like to congratulate user Maticek. His girst entered note was a hit with eurobillet from paris - Distance = 963 km, time difference = 294 days
