Very nice to find a slovenian board in EBTF, I hope you all will have much fun with EBT and great hits all around the world! :D

As it looks like, I'll visit your country in January. By this chance I would like to leave not only tracked bills but also some EBT-flyers so I kindly like to ask if somebody can translate my german flyer into slovenian for me (I can try to translate it in english first which will maybe make things easier) :?:

I'll be happy to do it. My English is much better than my German so, perhaps, it would be better if you translated the flyer to English.

If you're looking for inspiration for the flyers, I used to have a few cards like these in my wallet. It was easy to give them out when I met someone who might be interested in tracking Euro banknotes. I admit the text might need to be updated (especially regarding the pooling banknotes), but it was written 20 million notes ago and things were a bit different back then.

If you need some help with the translation I master  both German and English.

Where can I find the flyers? I was thinking about producing my own ones... Maybe a PDF one with an automatic text fill in? Any idea about that avij?

We used to have some printable flyers available for the website, but they have since then been removed because a) they got hopelessly out of date quickly and b) they weren't particularly pretty. For now I'd simply suggest making your own. But I suppose if someone made a nice Slovenian flyer and published it here so that everyone could use it, it wouldn't hurt.

flyers on the website

Post by cgorup »

Maybe we could use dynamically generated flyers.

We would need:
-translations in all languages of the text on the flyer
-flyer template with borders, background, ...
-php page which would dynamically generate flyer with chosen translated text, after text we could also add information like date, current hits, number of users, number of notes in system

In this case we would have flyers which would always be up to date. I can offer help by programming that php page. I have never ever used image library in php, but I think I can handle it.

Slovenian Letter on Bank Notes

Post by Fritzl »

What will be the letter for Slovenian bank notes, i.e. like the X for Germany, the U for France?
Thank you for your answer!

They will use notes printed for other countries in this first phase, so no new letters yet.. See this message.
