There was a game on a local radio station in Germany (Antenne Bayern): Der Tausch Deines Lebens (the exchange of your life)
This is how the game was to play: Everyday in the morning the radio station announced a serial of a 10 Euro note. If you were the lucky one with that note the radio station gave you 10.000 Euro for your 10 Euro note.
As I'd been sleeping when they announced the serial I was searching for it on the web. And one of the search matches brought me to EBT
And now I'm here, not having found the winning 10 Euro note, but still entering notes.

Actually I found this place by more or less randomly browsing wikipedia. I"m still new to it, but the whole "where does my money go and where does it come from?" is something I have thought about before.

Congraulations to all Belgian users for producing this invasion of new Belgians on EBT.

I read about it in an article in Le Parisien printed in September and joined a few days afterwards.
