I read an article in our local newspaper Dagblad van het Noorden in July 2006 :D That's how I started tracking eurobills!

The number one newspaper Helsingin Sanomat in Finland had an article in spring 2004 and that cought me. Since then I have been addicted to EBT and nothing seems to cure me.
Living away from Euro zone in the beautiful Vancouver, Canada since January 2012. Experiences and stories of living in here can be found in here (in Finnish).

I think I saw the same article as Klazu, but I also heard about the site from my ex-boyfriend.
The dirty story behind was actually that we had a "friend" who was known to steal money from everybody. I thought it would be a foolproof way to show that notes in this persons pocket were actually mine. Thefts stopped before I had to prove them.
I was hooked anyways :D

Doesn't that mean he was indeed a friend and not a "friend". Losing a couple (thousand) of euros is of course not a very big price for discovering the lovely world of EBT!

The reporter from this article had contact with Helsingin Sanomat and thanks to him, EBT got published in Finland the first time in 2004 ... so you're addicted a little thanks to me    .

Oh, that was new to me. Well, "thanks" then...I guess... At least now I know who to blame for this addiction when I get bored to EBT...

I found EBT link searching, with Google, info about relationships between short codes and serial numbers; I thought: "nice idea" but I didn't make a subscription.
After two months googling I found for the second time EBT link so I decided to insert notes in my wallet, and now I'm still here
