Thank you Donald - such a nice piece of statistics and nobody comments it at all.

I think it shows the perseverance of some Southern European nations. Once you've taken on a task, you don't give up but continue until the very end.

I'd like to see how the statistics were affected, if for instance the top 3 users of each country were eliminated (well, I mean their notes) and the statistics were re-calculated after that. Do you have much time on your hands, Donald?

Without bhoeyb, Belgium would fall behind Spain. (approx. 80 notes / user) I didn't calculate the others.

Mathematically this might be true. But suppose that bhoeyb had never registered to EBT. Then some users would have entered lesser notes because the wanted to catch up with bhoeyb. Or some other users who saw they couldn't enter more notes than bhoeyb gave up.

So maybe without bhoeyb our position could have been let's say Ireland. Or maybe before Italy.

Of course I could be wrong (had some hard days at work lately). :?

It may be worth noting, in this context, that, as of now,

0.1 % of the users (11 of 11298) have entered 19.1% of the notes (158120 of 828192) and
1% of the users (113 of 11298) have entered 49.4 % of the notes (409072 of 828192), if I added correctly.

And out of this top 1%, every fourth user (28 of 113) were not seen in the last 30 days.

Depressing.

Reminds me the income statistics in Third World countries: 1% of the population earns 60% of the total income...

Gee, that's kind of very elitist, isn't it? I feel so tiny, all of the sudden ;) ...

I sort of had the same feeling as Guest when I posted these statistics.

Elitist? I have only twice as many notes as you do, and that's really far from the top 1%.
