Elevator Poll

Post by bhoeyb »

I use over 10 times a day the elevator at work because the samples I have to analyse are stored in the cellar.

About five times in a day. My flat is on 3rd floor and my office is on 4th floor.

Ah, look at all the lonely Euronotes. Where do they all come from? (The Beatles, Eleanor Rigby)

I use them a few times a week, since none of the buildings where I live have elevators, but I use them when I go to shopping malls and such. I prefer escalators, though (I can go faster if I'm in a hurry ;))

Not very often. I live on ground floor and my office is on 1st floor (in Finnish standard: 2nd floor; ground floor is regarded as the 1st one).

I work on the top floor of our building. Normally I use it less than 10 times a day so I vote accordingly. A so now I'll pay attention not to use the elevator more than 10 times a day. :)

I voted for a few times a month. It really depends on how good a grandchild I am and how often I go visit my grandparents. Their flats have elevators.

Other than that I can't remember when I last used one, except maybe at the hospital (but that was also a visit to my grandfather).

wow valkske 8O
I'm also scared of elevators to be honest...
When I was 6 or so, I once got stuck in an elevator for half an hour.
Now I evade elevators as much as possible!

The elevator in the supermarket in Kontich (delhaize) takes ages to get to the roof of the building (where the parking is, about 5-10m above the ground).
It takes only a few seconds to get up there, but then it just seems to be stuck for almost 10 seconds before the doors finally open.
I really REALLY hate that! I always think they just won't open at all! :(
