What are the currencies there?
Do you take rands or USD with you?
In South Africa, they have the Rand indeed. I won`t ofcourse take dollars with me but Euros (hope that one of them will get me a hit in SA ) and mainly Rands that I`ll buy in Belgium before leaving. Normally I never take too many bills with me but pay as much as possible with creditcard - especially as South Africa doesn`t seem to be the safest place on earth....

PS : Barcelona is at this moment only 4 days away 8)

Next summer I will be at home but usually I go to visit my parents-in-law in Poland. This year we will visit them around Christmas. It's not a real holiday but I don't have to work the time I am in Poland so you can call it vacation !

I'm going to Rijswijk in november 2004. I'll do there some volunteer work in the Mapa Mondo House. It's a place for very sick children. To help their parents those childeren can stay for a while in the Mapa Mondo House.

So Olivier's report of the trip and my ensuing fit of jealousy have been erased too?

Where was that tax-free state again? I've got a friend who is definitely going to the northeast. She was asking after places to visit.

Why would anyone want to come to Ireland for the summer? It's cold ;-)
No, I'm sure it's a nice place to go, and it's a nice change from sitting on a beach in Spain or Greece.

I myself am going to the south of France, near a place called Fayence. We've rented a villa there and will drive around to some of the nearby villages/ towns - Nice, Cannes, Monaco, maybe to the Italian Riviera too. Am looking forward to it!
