The one stuck to my laptop.
It's a qwerty one.

My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

Re: What keyboard do you have ?
I have a notebook with a qwerty keyboard but when I wish to type in french I can change it to azerty. Pressing the keys 1 to 9 gives;
qwerty 123456789
azerty &é"'(-è_ç
The lettering on the keyboard doesn't alter but the action of the key does. It can be difficult as i automatically hit the key for A to type an A but when in azerty I have to go back and correct my errors. Also in the Azerty mode I can't find the full stop or the apostrophe, so when typing in French I have to switch between the modes continuously.

You could try the French Canadian keyboard. It's pretty much an U.S. qwerty layout with the smallest possible amount of changes required to enable you to write in French.japh wrote:I have a notebook with a qwerty keyboard but when I wish to type in french I can change it to azerty. My own experience is, though, that it's quite easy to learn writing with an Azerty. The funny thing is, most of the keyboards that I regularly use beside my own, are French. Though, one of them has an option to switch to a German qwertz. My own computer has a Swedish/Finnish qwerty.
Nicely enough, this pile of layouts together sometimes causes me to write w instead of y. Who wants to guess why that happens?

Although I live and work in Austria, I use (US) English qwerty layout on both my home IBM laptop keyboard,
and my work Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite 2, which looks like this:
