How did you get involved with EBT?

Hello. New member of the forum from Dublin :flag-ie: :flag-ie: :flag-ie:

Been active on EBT sporadically since the end of August as I'm balancing my time between the Eurozone and the pound sterling city of Edinburgh. What intrigues me is the ridiculous amount of notes that some people enter on a daily basis. How do some of you enter so many notes? Do you go through them individually by hand or do you work in some cash office environment and have a mechanism to scan each note? As a poor student who is lucky to have a couple of notes in his wallet, I can't wrap my head around people entering thousands of euro's worth of notes each day! lol

Hi,

Yes, some people enter this many notes. They own a shop or visit banks on a daily basis.
After some time it will be easier (faster) to enter these amount of notes. Some users enter op to 500 notes per hour.

The sort of official thread to answer that (title) question is this one: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1020

The other thing you bring up routinely comes up as well. Latest thread that I remember covering the topic (it's mostly people who work with cash, and EBT has sort of become part of their job lol see pharmacist video there): viewtopic.php?f=4&t=56336
