site does not accept shortcode

i have a note of 10 euro and the short code is not accepted? any suggestions???

Maybe a counterfaited note? Or a typo error when you digit the short-code?

Short codes consist of one letter, followed by three digits, followed by one letter, followed by one digit. All letters are uppercase. Occasionally people confuse 1 and I, or I with (lowercase) L, or 0 and O, or B and 8, or G and 6. Look closely.
If all fails, send a scan of the note and/or the full serial number to the contact address; often it is possible to figure it out.

Sorry for waking up this 3d, but I don't know where to post this!
This is really odd, I made a mistake on this

http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/notes/?id=26179415 , it's a common M/V, but what is strange is that even if I put a M in front of the serial, the system gave me the green! It's a bug or just odd but it may happen?

Yes, it's possible. The Javascript code checks only the checksum of the serial number, and as it happens, M and V yield the same number in the checksum test. The form works as it should.

Edit: I changed that note from M/M note to M/V note.

old topic but I did'nt find another to put this.

I have in my database a

shortcode:L047e2 Serial L6808xxxxxxx

I know this is not possible but the serial beginning 20 L680 seems very unlikely too. Can Someone tell me what is has to be?

It's very likely that the serial number should be U6808 instead of L6808. Fixed that.
